Don’t give into the pressure of pliable perception
Don’t be a fool and fall for this societal deception
Switch off the TV if you really want to see
Into the very depths of your own soul
You can’t put a price on your own self worth
You have been programmed since your birth
Anxiety, depression the symptom of a sick society
In an insane world why strive for conformity?
Just be who you want to be
Not who your friends and family want to see
Not some character beamed live through the TV
Live for your own reality
Remain true to yourself….
